light switch - 9/3/2008 2:33:22 PM

I'm so excited about putting in my bathroom light myself that I want to replace a light switch in my hall. It works but it''s beige and I want a white one. I bought a switch but it doesn''t have enough screws to put my wires on. It has 2 plus the GND screw. My old switch has 3 screws plus the GND screw. Does that make sense to anybody? Thanks, Lynda

I'm not in the trades, but I bought a "Time/Life" Electrical Book. It explains everything, has diagrams & even nice color pics. Easy to follow for us laymen (laywomen?).
