I've been volunteered to build and donate a shoe rack to a yoga studio. I'm not sure where to start. It needs to be somewhat lightweight, will sit on the floor and have enough cubbies to hold about 12 pairs of shoes. I think 3 cubbies high and 4 across will do. Has anyone out there ever built one and are willing to share? If not, can anyone give advice on what material to use and how to attach all of the individual slats? Keeping in mind that I only have hand tools and not the fancy power woodworking tools that I dream of. Any advice would help. Thanks! |
